In this project, I had a nostalgic journey to recreate the iconic E1M1 level from Doom, enhancing it with advanced graphics using Unreal Engine. I fused the original structure with the cutting-edge RTX lighting system to breathe new life into the level. Drawing from educational resources and my foundational understanding of shooter games, I designed a zombie-themed shooter with additional mechanics such as health, grenades, and dynamic ammo modules. As a passionate gamer, the experience of redesigning a level from a game that brought me immense joy in my childhood was an absolute delight.
